18 Traffic Lights Damaged by Protests Repaired

Jakarta Transportation Agency ensured all damage traffic lights impacted by demonstration have been repaired.

Jakarta traffic is back to normal

As many as 18 traffic light units in strategic areas are back to normal.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo said the agency's technical teams have been deployed to ensure all damaged traffic lights are back to operate.

City Government and Public Works Ministry Collaborate to Repair Damaged Public Facilities

"All damaged traffic traffic lights have been repaired completely on September 2 at 1 PM. Now Jakarta traffic is back to normal," he said, Wednesday (9/3).

He added that the Jakarta Transportation Agency also implemented manual traffic control during the repair process to prevent vehicle congestion at the affected location.

Syafrin continued that this quick action shows the Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment to ensuring public comfort and safety.
