Pramono Revokes WFH Policy as Jakarta Back to Normal

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung has instructed to revoke Work From Home (WFH) policy for civil servants. Previously, the policy was run to anticipate demonstration action.

Jakarta has returned to normal

This decision was taken after seeing that conditions in the capital had returned to normal.

"I instructed the heads of agencies to revoke WFH policy since Jakarta condition is back to normal," said Pramono, Wednesday (9/3).

Pramono added that all public transportation modes such as Transjakarta, MRT, LRT, microtrans, and Jaklingko are back to normal operations. The situation in Jakarta has returned to normal, as can be seen from the activities of Jakarta Provincial Government civil servants who continued to use public transportation on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, repairs to Transjakarta infrastructure and MRT stations affected by the demonstrations are targeted for completion by September 8, 2025. For the next week, the Jakarta Provincial Government has also made public transportation free for the public.

To ensure the capital's normal condition, Pramono admitted that he and his wife went for a walk this morning without an escort. They also took the time to interact with the public about the current situation.

Pramono believes that Jakarta will remain safe with support from all levels of society to safeguard the city.

"With #JagaJakarta now echoing everywhere and especially in the community, the participation of RT, RW, community leaders at the lowest level has made me believe that Jakarta has returned to normal," he stated.
