All Transjakarta Corridors Operating Again, Residents Happy

The public transportation users are very pleased and appreciate the resumption of all Transjakarta bus corridors as the situation becomes more conducive.

One of the Transjakarta bus users, Imran (28), said that the suspension of Transjakarta buses due to acts of anarchy during protests is very detrimental.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), it has been operating again since yesterday. We no longer have difficulty finding public transportation to go to or return from work. This Transjakarta bus is very necessary because transportation costs become cheaper," he expressed, Wednesday (9/3).

He is also very grateful for the policy from Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, which sets the Transjakarta bus fare at Rp 1 from September 1 to 7.

"Hopefully, there will be no more anarchistic actions that damage public facilities, including Transjakarta bus stops. Users like me are having a hard time," he explained.

He appreciates the performance of the Jakarta Government and the PT Transjakarta along with the army/police as all services, both Microtrans, Non-BRT, and BRT, have fully resumed and are serving customers again.

"In less than 24 hours, the preferred transportation mode of Jakarta residents gradually recovered and resumed serving customers," he added.

Meanwhile, Transjakarta bus user on Corridor 11, Kampung Melayu-Pulo Gebang Terminal route, Farah (32). She always uses the Transjakarta bus to support her activities.

"Besides being free from traffic congestion, I also feel safe, comfortable, and affordable. Transjakarta bus is very helpful to the community. Hopefully, there will be no more destruction of public facilities," he stated.

As information, based on data collected by PT Transjakarta from Saturday (8/30) evening to Tuesday (9/2) evening, the number of operational fleets was 4,907 buses serving 240 Transjakarta routes, including BRT, integration, Mikrotrans, and Transjabodetabek.
