Flagship Area Development on Jalan Rahayu 85 Percent Complete

"The work, which began in July 18, is targeted for completion next week. Currently, it's 90 percent done. A total of 8 orange troop personnel have been deployed to arrange the location," she explained on Monday (9/8).

She shared that the flagship area is being developed under the Rindang Nusantara concept, featuring tree-trunk-themed reliefs. The boundary wall is being decorated with murals of various leaves and trees.

"We've also created a 30-meter-long stone relief designed to resemble tree trunks, which will serve as a border for ornamental plants," she mentioned.

She expressed hoped that the project would enhance the area's aesthetics, making it greener, cleaner, and more orderly.

"We're encouraging local residents to help maintain and care for this improved space and ensure it remains used as intended," she noted.

In addition, Kalisari's Economic and Development Section Head, Evy Widyasanti, added that various ornamental plants will also be planted in the area, including Lavender, Lantana, Wedelia, and Pretty Pink.

"The East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency will assist the greening by providing 1,200 polybags of ornamental plants," she concluded.
