Executive Commits to Improving Education Quality, Rano Says

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Rano Karno ensured the commitment of Jakarta Provincial Government in increasing education quality.

This affirmation was conveyed by Rano in the Plenary Session of the Answer of the Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, regarding the general views of the Jakarta City Council factions regarding the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget of Jakarta Province for the 2026 Fiscal Year and the Change in the Legal Form of the Regional Public Company Air Minum Jaya to the Limited Liability Company Air Minum Jaya (Perseroda).

"The executive continues to make improvements in all sectors on an ongoing basis and synergizes with various parties," Rano said, Monday (9/8).

Rano explained that various efforts have been made, including the use of learning technology, improvements to infrastructure, accessibility, and the quality of teaching staff. This demonstrates the executive's commitment to improving access, service quality, and education.

Rano also explained the revitalization of school buildings. The executive has prepared a five-year revitalization plan, which is outlined in the regional Strategic Plan (Renstra).

"Executive recognizes that thorough planning and implementation of school building revitalization will provide a sense of security, improve the education quality, and create a better learning environment for students," Rano stated.
