Prime Area Arrangement on Jalan TB Simatupang Reaches 80 Percent

The arrangement of prime area on Jalan TB Simatupang, Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta has reached 80 percent. The project is targeted to complete next week.

Jati Padang Urban Village Staff of Economy and Development, Rahardian Shandy said the arrangement is run above 250 meter square of land.

"We're arranging this location because it was previously neglected. In fact, it sometimes used as illegal dump site," he said, Tuesday (9/9).

Rahardian explained that the area's arrangement included the creation of murals with themes of food security, Betawi culture, gardens with ornamental plants, and relief decorations on the walls.

"The project has been running from July by involving eight PPSU personnel," he explained.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Farhan (34), said the efforts to beautify the area are crucial, especially since this access road is heavily used by motorists. Therefore, this arrangement will be a visual treat for those passing by.

"The arrangement beautifies the area much. It's good for us," he said.
