Pramono Appeals Excavation Work to Be Cooperated

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung conveyed the commitment of Jakarta Provincial Government in solving traffic congestion impacted by excavation works. Pramono does not want any more development to be carried out without good coordination.

"We discussed about traffic congestion impacted by various excavation works. I said no more excavation work takes place without good cooperation," said Pramono, Thursday (9/11).

Pramono has also asked his staff to reformulate excavation work procedures in Jakarta to prevent further serious traffic congestion.

Pramono Urges Immediate Completion of TB Simatupang Projects

The Standard Operating Procedure will become a guide for all parties involved in the excavation project, both Regionally-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) and related agencies.

"I ask them to formulate standard operating procedure before starting the excavation works," he added.

Jakarta's traffic congestion, particularly on Jalan TB Simatupang, has drawn Governor Pramono's attention and calls for immediate resolution. One effort to alleviate traffic congestion in the area is a trial run of toll exits, scheduled to begin this coming Monday.

"We will start the trial next Monday, as we proposed regarding the opening of the last toll road," he stated.
