TJ App: Transjakarta Presents Companion Mode Feature

PT Jakarta Transportation (Transjakarta) has once again introduced a digital innovation through the launch of Companion Mode, the latest feature on the TJ: Transjakarta app.

Transjakarta continues to commit to improving services

The feature is already active and can be used by customers to accompany them from the beginning of the journey until they reach their final destination.

Information Technology and Transjakarta Service System Director, Raditya Maulana Rusdi, said that Companion Mode makes the TJ:Transjakarta app not only a route planning application but also a digital companion based on artificial intelligence (AI) that provides a more comfortable, safe, and enjoyable travel experience.

"Transjakarta continues to commit to improving services and creating new experiences for customers. We introduce the Companion Mode feature, which will further assist customers in using Transjakarta services through AI technology, such as making reporting issues easier and providing more interactive service information," he expressed, Thursday (9/18).

He explained, the TJ:Transjakarta application has been downloaded more than 1.4 million times by Transjakarta customers since it was first launched. This application has helped the Jakarta people plan their daily trips.

With the arrival of Companion Mode, the TJ:Transjakarta app now evolves further into an interactive travel companion platform, in line with the lifestyle of urban communities who are increasingly connected with technology.

He added that through the TJ:Transjakarta app, customers can access real-time service information, from bus arrival estimates, fleet tracking, to trip planning features that help significantly reduce waiting times.

"With the addition of features tailored to the needs of Transjakarta customers, it is expected to improve the customer experience and also increase public interest in using public transportation," he added.

Here is features of Companion Mode include:

• Real-time trip navigation, which provides accurate and seamless route guidance from point A to point B

• Interactive chatbot is an intelligent service for inquiring about routes, schedules, Transjakarta service information, as well as a quick channel for submitting reports

• Reporting feature that makes it easy for customers to report issues, incidents, or service needs directly from the app

• TJ Radio, present as exclusive audio entertainment to accompany customers' journeys. As information, TJ:Transjakarta app is available on iOS and Android operating systems.
