"... we'll continue training and chasing personal records,"

The siblings, both born in 2003 and currently studying at Akademi Olahraga Prestasi Nasional (AKORNAS) in Rawamangun, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, claimed top honors in several events, including the women's 4x100-meter relay and the 100-meter hurdles.

Jakarta Comes Closer the Overal Champion at POMNas XIX 2025

Diva Aprilian expressed her gratitude for the remarkable achievement, which also strengthens Jakarta's chances of winning the overall championship at POMNas XIX.

Alhamdulillah, I'm grateful for this result in my third time competing at POMNas. This year is also our last appearance since we'll no longer meet the age requirement for the next POMNas,” she shared on Thursday (9/25).

Meanwhile, Devi Aprilian shared that she and her twin sister have been involved in athletics since fifth grade.

Throughout their careers, Devi said they have regularly competed in national championships across various regions, including National Sports Week (PON).

They've also represented Indonesia in international competitions such as Asian School Games, Asian Youth Championships, and Thailand Open.

“Although we won't be able to compete in the next POMNas, we'll continue training and chasing personal records in sprinting, jumping, and more, with hopes of qualifying for major events like the SEA Games, Asian Games, and the Olympics,” she explained.

For information, Jakarta has earned 13 gold, seven silver, and three bronze medals in athletics at POMNas XIX.
