Joint Personnel Prevent Illegal Parking on Jalan Pemuda

Joint personnel are conducting patrols to prevent illegal parking in front of Labschool on Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun Urban Village, Pulo Gadung Sub-district, East Jakarta.

"We want no more illegal parking that causes traffic congestion on Jalan Pemuda,"

East Jakarta Mayor Munjirin said that since Thursday afternoon (9/25), his team has been deployed to prevent and control illegal parking in the area.

"We want no more illegal parking that causes traffic congestion on Jalan Pemuda. Personnel from East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency and Satpol PP have been deployed," he asserted, Friday (9/26).

He also stated that the Labschool management will be called for a meeting to discuss and find solutions to stop illegal parking.

Munjirin urged parents and those who drop off or pick up students at Labschool not to park their vehicles on the road.

"We encourage students to use public transportation for their mobility," he mentioned.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budi Novian, said that 10 personnel are deployed daily to prevent illegal parking in the Labschool area.

"Patrols are conducted during peak hours in the morning, noon, and afternoon," he added.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Riki Erwinda, explained that traffic management on Jalan Pemuda, especially in front of Labschool, is routinely carried out, particularly from 6 AM and at school dismissal time around 2 PM.

"We deploy five personnel supported by two TNI and police officers. Additionally, we have one tow truck on standby. Any vehicle caught illegally parking will be acted upon to serve as a deterrent," he said.
