Prime Area Arrangement in Rorotan Reaches 95 Percent

The prime area arrangement on Jalan Permata Hijau, Green Garden Housing Complex RT 02/03, Rorotan Urban Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta has reached 95 percent of completion and is targeted to complete this week.

Rorotan Urban Village Head, Ahmad Fitroh said the arrangement is carried out on a 150 meter long and four meter wide plot of land which was previously overgrown with wild plants and bushes.

"The arrangement is run based on resident's request," he said, Monday (9/29).

Prime Area Arrangement on Jalan TB Simatupang Reaches 80 Percent

Fitroh explained that the area previously belonged to a property developer, but it was handed over to the Jakarta Provincial Government in 2022 to become a social and public facilities (Fasos-Fasum) area.

The arrangement focuses on creating a garden with various ornamental plants and herbs, then park benches, foot reflexology paths, and a jogging track.

He added that construction began in mid-July 2025. It is hoped that this location will be used as a space for community interaction, as it also includes a sports field.

"Hopefully local residents will also maintain the park cleanliness," he hoped.

Meanwhile, Ruby Alula (27), a local resident, appreciated the arrangement run in his area.

"Now it's beautiful, well-organized, and completed with a jogging track. Residents are sure to be more enthusiastic about exercising," he admitted.
