City Administration is attempting to take over of land ownership in several locations in North Jakarta. Such land will be used as Child-Friendly Public Spaces (RPTRA). About 12 public spaces are targeted to be built this year.

“All the land are supposedly belong to City Administration. If the document and  administrative are clear to be processed, then we will build it. Whole the assets belong to City Administration like park, social and public facility,” said City Secretary of North Jakarta Administration, Junaedi, Thursday (7/7).

According to him, as a commitment to prevent any conflict with other parties, his party will reorganize asset management. One of them is by taking over the land that is owned for decades by other party.

“The most important is, how the way to prevent any land claim on the public space later,” he continued.
