Improvement on Jalan Haji Biyul Brings Comfort for Public Transportation Users

The prime area arrangement run on Jalan Haji Biyul, RT 03/01, Cilandak Timur, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta provided comfort for the users of public transportation.

Acting Head of Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Puji Meilita admitted previously, the area was unkempt, slum, and did not have adequate bus stops for public transportation users.

"We've taken the initiative to provide the best possible service to the community by improving the area. This location is often used by people crossing the pedestrian bridge from the south and north sides of Jalan TB Simatupang," he admitted, Friday (10/3).

Jalan Ambalat Area More Beautiful and Clean After the Makeover

Meilita added the arrangement involve 15 PPSU personnel assisted by Bina Marga Sub-agency, City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, and Environmental Sub-agency of South Jakarta.

"The arrangement was started in July 2025. It included the construction of bus stop, seating, park, and mural. Now the arrangement has been completed fully," Meilita added.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Narawi, a local resident, appreciated the arrangement that focused on public transportation users.

"As the public transportation user, this facility is helpful," he said.
