Jakarta City Council Commission B Member, Nur Afni Sajim appreciated the Perumda Dharma Jaya performance which has played a vital role in maintaining food price stability in Jakarta.

"When the price of chicken soared to Rp 48 thousand per kilogram, Dharma Jaya sold it for Rp 35 thousand," she said, Friday (10/3).
She explained that Dharma Jaya's role is based on Gubernatorial Regulation Number 22/2018, which positions the BUMD as the main operator of Jakarta's food subsidies.

Afni hopes that Dharma Jaya's transformation will not only ensure food availability but also increase the company's profits.
"Dharma Jaya must be able to provide dividends to the Jakarta Provincial Government in the future," she added.
Meanwhile, Dharma Jaya Director, Raditya Endra Budiman stated the company continues to strengthen its role in the food sector while expanding its commercial business. In the past two years, Dharma Jaya's commercial business unit has grown by 190 percent.
"We've entered e-commerce platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee, and Blibli. We now also have 100 Horeca partners, 350 general trade customers, and 95 wholesale customers," he stated.
Dharma Jaya products are now available in various modern markets, including Transmart, Food Hall, Tip Top, Mitra, and Hero. Dharma Jaya also collaborates with 66 MSMEs and 72 active resellers, as well as small trader associations.
According to him, Dharma Jaya is currently preparing to use 1.2 hectares of land in Cakung as an ecopark, nursery, urban farming, and greenhouse that can be utilized by local residents.
