Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung menerima penyerahan ambulans listrik

Pramono Receives Jakarta's First Electric Ambulance

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung received electric ambulance from the Life After Mine Foundation (LINE) at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (10/8).

This will be very helpful

Pramono said that this electric ambulance is the first unit owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government. The government plans to add five more electric ambulances next year.

"But actually we already have a pick-up and drop-off service, so hopefully there will be no problems in operating this ambulance," said Pramono

Adding Ambulances must Be Followed by Optimal Utilization

Pramono added that this electric ambulance is managed by Jakarta Health Agency to serve the residents.

According to him, Jakarta Health Agency already has 96 conventional ambulance units. With this electric ambulance, it means the agency has 97 ambulance in total.

Meanwhile, Head of LINE Foundation, Mochammad Bihar, hoped that the provision of this electric ambulance can become a prototype and inspiration for various parties in providing environmentally friendly vehicles.

"This will be very helpful to all of our society and hopefully it can be sustainable," he hoped.

Bihar added collaboration between the Jakarta Provincial Government and the private sector needs to be continuously developed so that more sustainable initiatives will emerge in the future.

"We hope this vehicle can be a useful asset for the people of Jakarta, supporting the medical service activities of the Jakarta Provincial Government," he admitted.
