Jakarta's Weather Remains Normal, Pramono Says

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung responded to public concerns about the potential increase in Acute Respiratory Tract Infections (ARI) cases due to extreme hot weather.

Jakarta is not experiencing hot air as reported

Based on a report from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Pramono stated that Jakarta is not experiencing extreme heat. He confirmed that current air conditions remain normal.

"Jakarta is not experiencing hot air as reported, because the air in Jakarta is currently still normal," he said, Wednesday (10/15).

Pramono Reacts to Jakarta's Ranking Among World's Happiest Cities

According to BMKG report, Pramono added, rainfall in Jakarta is predicted to be at a moderate level in the next few days.

"I cooperate with BMKG and they said rainfall in Jakarta is predicted at moderate level," he added.

Pramono also hopes that extreme weather will not occur in Jakarta and affect the health of Jakarta residents.
