96,987 People in Kalideres District Activate Digital Population Identity

The realization of digital population identity (IKD) in Kalideres District, West Jakarta, has reached 96,987 people of the initiate target by 339,823 people.

Kalideres District's Head Sector of Population and Civil Registration, Fadtheland Mustofa said the dynamic target data is calculated based on the number of residents who have registered for their e-KTP in their area. Of this total, an annual target for IKD activation in districts is set at 30 percent.

"The annual target is determined by the Ministry of Home Affairs. So this year, our target is 101,947 IKD activations," he said, Friday (10/17).

Therefore, he continued, his party has been providing pick-up services to residential areas, schools and shopping centers since January ago.

As a result, as of mid-October, his side had activated 96,987 IKDs. Of this year's total target, 4,960 IKDs, or approximately 1.46 percent, remain to be realized.

Regarding the remaining target, Fadtheland expressed optimism about achieving it. In fact, he's quite confident he can exceed it.

"We're optimistic we can reach our target. Even if we exceed it, it will be saved for next year," he stated.
