The 'Night at the Ragunan Zoo' Trial Returns This Saturday

Jakarta Provincial Government through Ragunan Zoo Management Unit provides another trial of 'Night at The Ragunan Zoo' on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 6 PM to 10 PM.

Entry is open through the Main Gate and the North Gate with very affordable ticket prices, namely Rp 4,000 for adults and Rp 3,000 for children, by using JakCard.

Visitors can choose from two methods of visiting. First, buggy car tour for Rp 250,000 per trip (maximum five people) to see and feed nocturnal animals such as Sumatran tigers, pygmy hippos, binturongs, civets, and Javan porcupines.

Second, visitors can take a leisurely walk on a special 1.8 kilometer path while enjoying the evening atmosphere in Ragunan.

Head of Public Relation of Ragunan Zoo, Wahyudi Bambang said this activity is a form of innovation in capital city tourism that provides a different experience for Jakarta residents to enjoy the atmosphere of the zoo at night.

"This second trial was held to gauge visitor interest and test the readiness of the nighttime facilities. We want to provide an educational and recreational experience for the community, while ensuring the safety and comfort of all visitors," he said, Friday (10/17).

He urged visitors to arrive early, as the ticket booth is only open until 9 PM. He hoped the public would be able to enjoy this new experience in an orderly and safe manner.

"We will consider making it a regular agenda every weekend if the enthusiasm is high," he stated.
