Cempaka Putih District's Water Resource Unit deployed 15 personnel to normalize two channels at residential of RW 03 and 08, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Monday (10/20).

Head of Cempaka Putih Timur District's Water Resource Unit, M Sahudi said the channel normalization is run by installing 40 x 40 cm u-ditch.

His side is targeting to complete the normalization in December.
"Channel normalization is run based on local resident request," he added.
Sunarko (43), local resident, appreciated the channel normalization. According to him, the channel often overflows when moderate rain falls in long time duration.
"The normalization makes the channel bigger to flow water smoothly," he admitted.
