Dismantling of Monorail Poles to Complete in 2026

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung ensured that Jakarta Provincial Government has conducted communication with PT Adhi Karya related the dismantling of monorail poles.

This demolition plan is part of the capital's restructuring efforts, particularly on Jalan HR Rasuna Said area, which is targeted for completion in 2026.

"We have communicated with Adhi Karya. So please ask the company for further detail," said Pramono, Tuesday (10/21).

Two Abandoned Projects in Jakarta to Be Completed Soon

Pramono added that the Jakarta Provincial Government has planned to resolve the long-abandoned monorail pole issue. Pramono also has set a deadline for the demolition to begin during the plenary meeting.

"Hopefully we can start the demolition in January to fulfill completion deadline in 2026. I also hope Jakarta, especially Rasuna Said area will be more good looking," he added.

Moreover, Pramono continued, Jakarta Provincial Government is currently focusing on developing Jakarta, not only in densely populated areas such as Central Jakarta or Sudirman but also in other areas.

Development is also being carried out in other areas, including the arrangement under the toll road underpasses.

"Arrangement includes making graffiti, mural, and park," he continued.

Pramono also admitted that more RPTRAs to be launcher soon. This small park is hoped to bring benefit for residents.

"I will launch more RPTRAs soon. Hopefully it will be useful for residents," he hoped.
