In his speech, Pramono stated that M Bloc is a highly inclusive and open creative space that can be used by all members of society to create.
"I am one of those who greatly appreciate the presence of M Bloc. This is a highly inclusive, open space for creativity. Everyone has an equal opportunity to create," he expressed.
MSMEs Show Enthusiasm for Moving to Blok M Hub, Says PramonoHe emphasized the Jakarta government's seriousness in revitalizing the Blok M area. One of the efforts is by adding transportation facilities to Blok M. Of the six Transjabodetabek routes opened, three are specifically directed to Blok M, namely Alam Sutera - Blok M, PIK 2 - Blok M, and Ancol - Blok M.
"Why do we do this? Indeed, we want to revive and make Blok M lively again," he added.
However, there are still issues that need to be fixed in Blok M area, especially parking problems. For instance, the TransJakarta bus parking, which is deemed disruptive and causes pollution.
Therefore, all stakeholders are invited to sit together to resolve the issue.
To fix parking and traffic jam in Blok M area, Pramono mentioned that he would implement a one-park system. He also urged residents to use public transportation.
"I will implement only one parking," he continued.
The development of the Blok M area will be further strengthened by creating Blok M Hub as a gathering space for residents from various cultural backgrounds. Aside that, the Literacy Park will be open 24 hours. Then, at the end of December, Jakarta will also have a new park, Bendera Pusaka Park.
Pramono believes that with connected connectivity, this area will become a place full of creativity without the need for excessive promotion. He emphasizes the importance of opening up as much creative space as possible for the community.
Further, the Jakarta government's hard work over the past few months has also shown results and significant improvements. Among them is the increase in Jakarta's ranking in the global city survey from 74 to 71. As for public facilities, Jakarta is now in second position in ASEAN.
"This shows that we are on the right track. In fact, for the 18th happiest city in the world," he explained.
By so, it is hoped that the creative space provided can benefit the community and contribute to the advancement of Jakarta.
