Meanwhile, Implementer Head of North Jakarta Disaster Management, Dedy Tarmidji uttered North Jakarta is the first city in Jakarta which spawned the disaster contingency planning. In priority scale, the planning will be focused on flood handling.

“Our priority is motigation of flood or tidal wave. It is concerning flood potential is a biggest disaster in North Jakarta,” he explained.

He added such planning is sponsored by the Save Children Foundation, instead of City Budget (APBD). After it is done, there would be public trial and evaluation.
