6,642 Personnel Ready to Safeguard Jakarta

Jakarta Metro Jaya Police has deployed 6,642 personnel to safeguard the festive day of Eid ul-Fitr 1436 Hijri in the capital. They will be spread in five cities.

“Around 6,642 personnel deployed for area safeguarding and do population census during returning flow,” said Chief of Metro Jaya Police, Insp. Gen. Tito Karnavian, Thursday (7/9).

E. Jakarta Resort Police Provides Safekeeping Service

Aside that, Insp. Gen, Karnavian stated a number of homecoming posts were also set up in several points. Hopefully, it could provide service for homecomers.

He explained that his side is also coordinating with other regions, especially Jakarta buffer areas in order to optimally safeguard returning flow this year.

“Those buffer areas are Bekasi, Karawang, Tangerang and Serang,” he finished.
