West Jakarta Mayor Inaugurates BM Bridge in Duri Kosambi

West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto, launched the Berkah dan Manfaat (BM) Bridge on Jalan Kosambi Selatan Raya, RT 04/15, Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Cengkareng District.

The inauguration was marked by a ribbon cutting at the BM Bridge with Legislator of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Erwin Aksa, and Chairman of Commission A of the Jakarta City Council, Inggard Joshua.

Uus said that widening the BM Bridge is very important to smooth traffic flow considering its location in a densely populated area and is often crossed by various types of motorized vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled.

"The widening project cost used city budget of West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency 2025. The five-meter-long, three-meter-wide bridge work began on August 6 and was completed on October 19, 2025," he said, Thursday (10/30).

He hopes that the bridge will provide benefits to the community, especially motorists who pass through the RW 15 area and residents of Duri Kosambi Urban Village.

Meanwhile, Head of RW 15 of Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Santo Kusmandjaja expressed his gratitude to all parties who played a role in the bridge widening process.

According to him, the BM Bridge will facilitate access for residents of neighborhood units (RW) 15, 13, 9, and 10 in their daily activities.

"Hopefully the bridge truly brings blessings and benefits to all," he hoped.
