Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) is supporting Jakarta Legislative (DPRD)'s policy
to form the working committee (panja) in order to explore findings of Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) over the Examination Report (LHP) of 2014 City Budget (APBD) which has been detrimental to Jakarta assets.Definitely I agree because we have lost much, we are weak, and we are losing
Ahok admitted that Panja formation was already discussed with Head of Jakarta DPRD, Prasetio Edi Marsudi some time ago. It is hoped able to save city assets under bad agreement.
"Definitely I agree because we have lost much, we are weak, and we are losing," he voiced, City Hall, Thursday (7/9).
Ahok Questioned the Policy of BPKHe stated he is always prioritizing the budget transparency. Even, since 2013, the city budget is routinely published via Jakarta government official website and can be monitored by all elements. Thus, residents could be participated in monitoring budget use.
Ahok also asked the BPK to always be cooperative in auditing the local government's financial report, because some local heads caught in corruption case after they received an opinion of “reasonable without exceptions” (WTP).
"The financial report is still being corrected. But I don't care about any opinion, either it is WTP, “reasonable with exceptions” (WDP), or disclaimer. Just tell it transparently," he told.
As known, to Jakarta government, the BPK gave the WDP over 2014 LHP. There were 70 findings worth Rp 2.16 trillion. They consist of regional programs indicated a loss of Rp 442 billion and potentially detrimental Rp 1.71 trillion, shortage of local revenue Rp 3.23 billion, administrative expenditure Rp 469 million and excessive extravagance Rp 3.04 billion.
