Again, Jakarta Cycling Race Wins Medals at POPNAS 2025

The Cycling Sport branch has once again contributed medals for the Jakarta contingent at the National Student Sports Week (POPNAS) XVII.

We were able to add two gold medals, one silver, and four bronze medals

The seven medals were won today, consisting of two gold, one silver, and four bronze.

Jakarta Cycling Race Manager, Julio Yusuf, explained that two gold medals came from the women's 500-meter individual track cycling event awarded to Fahda Aaqilatul Fikriyah and the women's 2,000-meter event awarded to Aligya Keiko Hendranata.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), today, we were able to add two gold medals, one silver, and four bronze medals," he expressed.

The silver medal was won in the women's BMX ITT race by Nadiva Aisha Najwa. Meanwhile, four bronze medals were awarded, two each in BMX and track events.

Two cycling track medals were won in the 2,000 meter men's event by Evan Hadrian Kholik and in the 1,000 meter men's event by Fauzan Azima.

The remaining two are from the women's BMX ITT named Ayuri Maharani and the men's BMX ITT named Abdurohman Zakky.

"Until today, the cycling race has earned 15 medals. Consisting of six gold, three silver, and six bronze," he stated.
