Jakarta Men's Team Badminton Wins Silver in the Final

The Jakarta men's team badminton squad won the silver medal at the National Student Sports Week (POPNAS) XVII, after losing in the final against East Java at GOR Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Thursday (11/8) evening.

"Anak-anak sudah tampil maksimal dalam laga final.'

Jakarta's Badminton Contingent Manager, Mat Hair, praised his team's efforts in performing at their best in the final match, despite the unfortunate result of only earning a silver medal.

"They performed at their best in the final match. However, the opponent was luckier and managed to steal some crucial points during the game and win the gold medal," he explained.
