"We want to target JMFW 2026 to reach the target of 10 million US dollars, but hopefully it could be more than the previous year's achievement," he said, Saturday (11/9).

Fajarini explained that JMFW 2025 presents a number of new innovations by expanding cross-lifestyle collaborations through collaborations with Glamlocal and Anytime Fitness, as well as presenting interactive talks and international buyers from Italy, France, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Singapore.

Fajarini added that JMFW 2026 also held Business Matching and Business Networking to bring together business actors with representatives of embassies of friendly countries.

"There are 242 business actors participating in JMFW 2026, including fashion that appears in exhibitions and fashion shows, as well as food and beverage business actors," he added.

One of the participating designers, Brilianto, explained that his involvement in JMFW is driven by a passion to stimulate the national economy through ready-to-wear fashion products that have high sales value and global competitiveness.

According to him, JMFW is an important space to demonstrate that Indonesian products are not inferior in terms of quality, creativity, or price, amidst increasing pressure from imported products.

"We are currently facing a lot of foreign products, especially from China. JMFW is crucial for promoting local brands. Our products are ready-to-wear, easy to sell, and affordable. The economy can go faster if this continues to be supported," he continued.

Meanwhile, one of the sellers of Islamic clothing products from Althafunissa by Karina said that she sells two types of best-selling fashion, namely daily and printed, which are suitable for current trends and young people.

"We're offering a special launch price with attractive cashback. Visit us, there's still time until tomorrow," she said.
