Pramono: Budget Cuts, Development Quality Remains Stable

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, conveyed the Jakarta government's commitment to maintaining the quality of development, despite the City Budget (APBD) being cut by Rp 15 trillion.

He stated that his party will rely on creative financing strategies in implementing the development, so as not to disrupt the budget.

"Despite cut by Rp 15 trillion, we still maintain the quality of development in Jakarta remains stable. Hence, we will build with creative financing," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (11/12).

Despite facing budget efficiency challenges, the Jakarta government continues to boost the economy and regional revenue. He assessed, policies of tax exemptions and relief in several sectors, including restaurants and hotels, actually enhance business enthusiasm.

"It actually makes the business world in that sector more enthusiastic and increases compliance in paying taxes," he utterred.

He even mentioned that the regional tax revenue target has been exceeded so far. This condition indicates that the economy in Jakarta is still doing well.
