Rano Promotes Openness in Public Information at Monev KIP 2025

Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno delivered a presentation on Thursday (11/20), detailing the city government's policies and strategies to promote transparency and ensure public access to information.

Held at Grand Mercure Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, the event was part of Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Information Openness (Monev KIP) 2025, organized by Indonesian Public Information Commission (KIP).

According to Budi Awaludin, Head of the Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics (Kominfotik) Agency, the vice governor's presence showed the government's commitment to transparency in public information.

"The vice governor's attendance is extraordinary. It is a tangible expression of the government's attention to openness of public information," he mentioned.

Budi shared that during Monev 2025, Vice Governor Rano outlined the integrated data innovation called Satu Data Portal.

"This single‑portal innovation also conveys to the public that Jakarta is an open, responsive and accountable city," he remarked.

Additionally, Rano also conveyed that other related efforts are already underway, including e‑musrenbang, Smart APBD, and a real‑time budget realization dashboard.

He explained that each PPID unit across regional work units is now required to publish various public data through the many platforms under the provincial government’s control.

The Vice Governor's presentation, Budi noted, earned praise from evaluators and participants at Monev, including representatives from BRI, Gorontalo University, and Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS).

"Hopefully, the Jakarta Provincial Government can earn the best-title and maintain its status as an informative province for the eighth time," he expressed.
