Pramono Wants Christmas and New Year Celebration More Lively

"For Christmas, I've asked the Christmas Committee to hold more activities, not just one big event and then it's over. I'd rather make Jakarta more lively ," he said, Wednesday (12/3).

Jakarta Provincial Government has given permit for shopping centers to create decorations. The governor also gives permission for an entertainment event to be held on the streets.

"I'll also allow them to sing in Sudirman, Thamrin, Gatot Subroto, and so on. That's what I really want, to make Jakarta more vibrant and more interesting," he added.

Meanwhile, regarding New Year's celebrations, the Governor confirmed that New Year's celebrations will once again be centered at several strategic points, following the traditions of previous years.

"The main event is at the HI Roundabout, then at Monas and there is also a proposal whether it would be at Ancol or at Lapangan Banteng," he continued.

Moreover, Pramono also conveyed a message of unity and togetherness among the people of Jakarta. He believes that development in Jakarta cannot be done alone and must involve all elements of society.

"I want Jakarta to be safe, comfortable, peaceful, lively, and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy it," he stated.
