Pembuatan Crossing di Jalan Bongo IV Ditarget Rampung Pekan Depan

Next Week, Construction of Crossing Channel on Jalan Bongo IV Completed

The crossing channel on Jalan Bongo IV, RW 08, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, North Jakarta is being built and is targeted to be completed next week.

This is done because the area often floods due to inefficient water flow

Kelapa Gading Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Jhoni Sariyanto Situmorang explained, this five-meter-long channel crossing with a height and width of 90 centimeters is to increase water flow capacity in a bid to prevent blockages during heavy rainfall.

"This is done because the area often floods due to inefficient water flow," he expressed, Friday (12/12).

Crossing channel Built on Jalan Jati Raya to Prevent Flooding

This work involves 11 personnel with the support of one excavator unit for demolition and excavation.

"It has been underway since December and has touched the stage of river rock pairing," he explained.

The work received appreciation from one of the residents, Zahira (32). Hopefully, it could minimize flooding when it rains.

"The water often overflows during heavy rain. Hopefully, after the project is finished, there will be no more floods," he concluded.
