Central Jakarta Mayor, Arifin, Tuesday (12/16), reviewed the asphalting process of Jalan Karet Pasar Baru, Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Tanah Abang.

The asphalting of the 400-meter-long, four-meter-wide road that provides access to SDN 13 Karet Tengsin was carried out by the Central Jakarta Public Works Sub-agency Task Force.

"I also appealed related sub-agencies to build water channels and plant trees along the road," he added.
Meanwhile, Head of Central Jakarta Public Works Sub-agency, M Soleh explained the road connected to KH Mas Mansyur is owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government.
"Road asphalting involved excavators for dredging and leveling the road surface and rollers for compacting the road surface before and after asphalting," he explained.
