According to Romanti, shopping for Christmas decorations at Asemka Market has become an annual family tradition. Besides the extensive selection, the prices are also considered more affordable than elsewhere.

She explained that a 60 centimeter tall Christmas tree is sold for Rp 85 thousand, while the tallest, measuring five meters, costs Rp 12 million.
"I also sell Christmas balls for Rp 110,000 per box. All items are available for purchase in bulk or individually," she explained.
According to her, this year's sales situation differs from the run-up to Christmas last year. While visitor numbers were high last year, they weren't accompanied by an increase in purchases.
"This year, many people are shopping, turnover can reach tens of millions of rupiah per day or increase by about five times compared to normal days," she added.
Ade admitted that she started selling Christmas decorations in August 2025. However, as Christmas approached, the number of buyers actually decreased.
"There are still some buyers now, but not as many as before," she admitted.
