15,620 Travelers Departed from Pulo Gebang Bus Terminal

There were 15,620 travelers departed by using 2,187 buses from the Pulo Gebang Integrated Bus Terminal, Cakung, East Jakarta since Friday (12/19) up to Wednesday (12/24).

Ticket price remains normal

The Commander of the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Team (Danru), Badman Harahap, said that even though there was an increase in the number of passengers, there was no increase in ticket prices at this terminal.

"Ticket price remains normal," he said, Wednesday (12/24).

Homecoming Flow at Kampung Rambutan Terminal Increases

Badman added that most homecoming travelers departed for several cities in Sumatra, such as Pakan Baru, Palembang, Bengkulu, Padang.

Meanwhile, on Java, the most popular destinations are East Java, such as Malang, Surabaya, Jember, Surabaya, and others. In Central Java, these include Solo, Jepara, Pemalang, Purwokerto, Tegal, Brebes, Cilacap, and Yogyakarta.

There are also those who depart with destinations of Bali, Madura, Bima and Lombok.

Badman continued that the terminal's passenger flow during the same period was also quite busy. As of 11:30 AM today, 11,891 passengers had arrived on 2,352 intercity buses.

Anisa (41), one of the homecomers heading to Padang, admitted she took advantage of the Christmas and New Year holidays to return to her hometown.

"I want to spend my holiday there. Hopefully I will enjoy the trip," she admitted.
