Ahok Threats to Demolish Tebet Green Mall

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama threats to demolish Tebet Green Mall on Jalan MT Haryono, Tebet Timur, South Jakarta which was sealed in December 2014 due to arrears  building taxes worth Rp 1.8 billion.

Ahok added that the management had violated permission due to they have yet Worthy Certificate Function (SLF) which is a prerequisite for the issuance of Building Permit (IMB). “There is something wrong with permission. They cooperated with Army Strategic Reserves Command (Kostrad) which it doesn’t fit with the regulation,” he added.

However, Ahok admitted that he exactly did not know how long the management was not pay taxes.

As reported before, the officer of Regional Tax Service Management Unit (UPPD) in Tebet Sub-District sealed Green Tebet Mall. The effort was done as the management arrears Building Permit (PBB) amounted to Rp 1.8 billion.

“Unpaid amount is about Rp 1.8 billion of 4 years in arrears. Yet we continue to collect since March and there was also information related to sanctions since November,” said Unit Head of Tebet Taxes Service, Imron Cholid.

According to him, his side has came several times to reprimand and collect the shopping center tax liabilities which managed by PT Wahana Cipta Sentosa Sejahtera. But either the owner or management neglect it.
