“Preliminary data recorded there are 5,421 honorary teachers in
Jakarta, but presently 5 people had died, then it remaining 5,416 of honorary
teachers. The data has been locked by Administrative
and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (Kemenpan RB) to immediately process,”
said Deputy Head of Jakarta Education Department, Sopan Adrianto, at City Hall,
Thursday (7/23).
He acknowledged that City
Administration and Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry had several
meetings to get deal of the 5,416 honorary teachers appointment. “So, there are
three phases of selection which ended to 2017,” he uttered.
Adrianto further said that the administrative selection is currently underway to prove its data validity. “Whether the administrative data valid
or not,” he told.
For the next phase, Adrianto continued, both parties will select
which teacher who eligible to be appointed as civil servant.
“The criteria of selection still in process in the ministry.
Whether
to use based on the average age because mostly of them are aged over 50 years.
So, a little longer in retirement. This is matter is still further discuss at
ministerial level,” he explained.
Separetely, the selection process held at Nyi Ageng Serang
Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta and also closed today, Thursday (7/23).
“The selection process today is officially closed. Next step is carrying out all
the data to Jakarta Employment Agency and will be submitted to
National Employment Agency in the end of July for final validation process,” he stated.
