“We managed to pick up 1 tons of trash,” said Head of Trash Handling Section for South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Zaenuddin, Monday (8/3).
According to him, since the drain is a meeting of residential micro channels. No wonder, it caused pile of trash that dominated by plastic, wood, styrofoam, soft drink bottle and household trash..
“We deploy 10 officers to pick up trash in the drain as wide as 3 meters and 100 meters long,” he disclosed.
