15 Buildings in Krukut Riverbank Demolished

As much as 15 buildings stood atop Krukut riverbank at RW 08, Petojo Utara Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (8/5) were succesfully demolished. The presence of such buildings have violated Bylaw No.8/2007 about Public Order.

Gambir Sub-District Head, Fauzi acknowledged, inspection road is going to be constructed along Krukut river post demolisment. Such road will be an alternative way for motorcyclist.

2 Excavators Sent to Krukut River as Flood AnticipationThe demolishment which was involving 50 joint personnel went conducive. It is because the occupants have left their homes since couple days ago.
“We will conduct communal work every Sunday. We remain urge residents not to construct any building along riverbank area,” he disclosed.
