Djarot Again Reminded Jakartans Over Fire Threat

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat regretted the fire incident near Gembrong Market, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, that occurred on Tuesday (8/4) night. The fire which destroyed around 25 houses was triggered by trash burning.

“I knew the news last night that there was a fire due to trash burning activity,” told Djarot when being asked for a response at City Hall, Wednesday (8/5).

Over the incident, he once again reminded Jakarta residents to be more concerned about the surrounding environment. Moreover, the current dry season is still hitting several areas in the capital.
