N. Jakarta to Increase Waste Transportation Trip

In order to tackle the lack of waste disposal site (LPS), North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department attempts to increase the waste transportation trip to Bantargebang Integrated Waste Disposal (TPST), Bekasi, West Java.

“ Almost all areas are hard to find the waste disposal location , the most crucial areas are in Tanjung Priok and Koja Sub-District,” said Bondan Diah Ekowati, Head of North Jakarta Cleanliness, Monday (8/10).

However, her side continues seeking vacant land to be used as waste disposal site through coordination with urban village and sub-district head.

Waste Transportation in 14 Waste Disposal Sites Rescheduled

Furthermore, her side will also add some pickup cars. It is targeted in every sub-districts equipped with 2 cars this year.

“We’ll provide pickups in urban village this year,” she disclosed.
