Mampang River. It wasn’t accordance with
river demarcation line,” said Asril Rizal, Mampang Prapatan Sub-District Head,
Wednesday (8/12).
According to him, the buildings have violated bylaw
No. 8/2007 on public order. Besides, those buildings have no any building permit.
Asril acknowledged, the riverbank area is
supposed to be sterile from any construction. At least 6-8 meters from the
border river.
Separately, either South Jakarta Administration
or Mampang Prapatan Sub-District will give no compensation. “Because they have
violated the regulation, so that’s why no compensation given to them,” he stated.
