2015 Abnon Finalists Persuaded to Hold Charity

To improve social awareness, the finalists of 2015 Jakarta Abang None (Abnon) that ensured to be tourism and culture ambassador, Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department, persuaded to hold a charity event in Cipayung Social House, East Jakarta, last Thursday (8/13).

"We want the Abnon not only to be the ambassador, but also as role model in community and social activities ," said Head of Destination Attraction for Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department, Cucu Ahmad Kurnia. 

Kurnia stated, during the quarantine, the finalists had been debriefed with various materials from the academics and professionals. The debriefing given includes protocols field and fashion and Betawi accessories insights. 

Abnon Expected to Promote Seribu Island Tour

"It also includes history, psychology, tourism and culture, acting until communication in foreign languages," he explained. 

"The favorite Abnon will be chosen via Instagram. It started since Tuesday (8/4) ago. This is something new," he uttered. 

Choosing social media, he continued, as facility to choose the favorite one is in accordance with vision and mission of the government that always innovates following current development. 

"The peak of 2015 Jakarta Abnon contest will be broadcasted live on one of private television channels on Friday (8/14) in Kota Kasablanca Mall at 7-9 PM," he disclosed.
