Binduk Intensified Until December

Because of the increase in number of newcomers in the capital, Jakarta Provincial Government is going to intensify the Population Operation (Binduk) until December. Not only that, the newcomers who have no Jakarta ID card will be controlled.

14 of them also made Jakarta ID card

 

Head of Jakarta Population and Civil Registration, Edison Sianturi said, the operation is done for residential order, social order, and public order.

According to him, at least 14 newcomers were been repatriated because they have no ID card. 2 out of 14 them are foreigners from Japan and Korea, while the rest are Indonesian citizens from various regional.

 

"In detail, 2 people are from North Jakarta, 3 from West Jakarta, 2 from Central Jakarta and the rest from South Jakarta, we brought them to Social Homes" he told, Friday (8/14).

 

Sianturi added, his side also curbed 2,346 people from 5 municipalities in the operation that held on last Wednesday (8/12). 2,330 out of the total have made Temporary Residence Certificate (SKTS).

 

"14 of them also made Jakarta ID card," uttered Sianturi.
