Binduk Operation in South Jakarta will be held periodically. The newcomers who still have no Jakarta ID card should report to local urban village office.

" We will hold Binduk Operation at least once in 3 months ," said South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Tri Kurniadi, when he held the operation in Pejaten Timur residential, Pasar Minggu, Wednesday (8/12). 

According to Kurniadi, the operation was conducted to record newcomers completely. Not only their origin, but also their settlement, until their job. "So the operation is in order to anticipate newcomers. We record their settlement and also their job so they would not be illegal," he uttered.

He continued, eventually, the newcomers should report to RT and RW until urban village. Thus they can be given temporary domicile certificate (SKDS). "It requires cover letter from their origins. The letter is only for a year," he explained. 

In such operation, the areas of RW 07, 08, 09 and 10 are the main target. "Based on analysis result, besides as densely populated area, the Pejaten Timur Urban Village also potentially becomes a place for newcomers," he expressed. 

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, officers of South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department checked rental house or dorm that allegedly accommodating newcomers. For those citizens who have no Jakarta ID card, should report then recorded and asked to process SKDS.
