Pramuka Asked to Prepare Facing MEA

To meet the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA), the members of Pramuka are asked to prepare themselves. Their activity also should keep being intensified both in curriculum subjects and extraculicular activities. 

They should study maximally, to face free trade more open

It was conveyed by East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana in front of 1,200 members of East Jakarta Pramuka Tingkat Penggalang and Penegak, Monday (8/17).

According to him, Pramuka is one of institutes that could give knowledge and metal provision for nation's next generations. Therefore the activity should be maintained and improved in quantity and quality. "We cannot hesitate and discouraged. Just keep participating in the activity both in subjects and extraculicular," he expressed. 

He told, by participating in it would train the members' mental. particularly, it also can raise nationalism towards the nation. "As Pramuka members would have best quality if they dedicate themselves to the countriy in future," he told.

Furthermore, he wants all the members especially in East Jakarta to prepare themselves for MEA era." They should study maximally, to face free trade more open. Don't let our nation to be defeated by other countries, and inevitably we should take the rivalry," he asserted.
