20 Dorm Rooms in Matraman Burnt

A fire gutted 20 dorm rooms on Jalan Arjuna 1 RT 08/07, Utan Kayu Selatan Urban Village, Matraman, East Jakarta, Tuesday (8/18). Although no casualties, the material losses estimated at Rp 1.2 billion.

Picket Officer of East Jakarta Fire Managing and Rescuing Sub-Department, Bambang Mujianto said, his side got information about the fire around 5:30 AM and deployed 14 fire trucks immediately to the location.

Mujianto said the fire was extinguished around 7 AM.
