Illegal Parking Beside South Jakarta Police Headquarters Closed Down

An illegal parking for motorcycle that located beside South Jakarta Police Headquarter, Jalan Dharmawangsa 3, Pulo Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-District, South Jakarta, closed down.

According to Sari, her side had to involve police assistance. This is because her side had difficulties to close down the parking lot that has been operating for 5 years.

Illegal parking on Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta will Be Controlled

"We had given warning until installing parking ban banner, but they ignored it," she told.

Relaying on Pulo Urban Village's data, around 500 motorcycles are parked on such 24-hour parking lot. 

To prevent the same thing, her side then attached an iron peg as long as 200 m with a distance of 2 m. And then another peg connected to plastic rope and tied.

"Every day, we will send 2 Satpol PP personnel assisted by South Jakarta Internal Affairs Division (Propam)," he told.

Eventually, she continued, the motorcycle will be diverted to park in Grand Wijaya parking lot.

"We also had coordinated with Grand Wijaya party," she disclosed.
