Demolishment in Kembangan Went Chaotic

The demolishment of teens buildings at Jalan Raya Joglo RT 06/01, Kembangan went chaotic. It was conducted to return the land belongs to PT Copylas as the official owner decreed by West Jakarta District Court.

The court has decreed that PT Copylas Indonesia is the official owner

When the joint officers consisting of Satpol PP, National Army and Police and also the district court visited the 7,930-square-meter land at 8 PM, they were prevented by the local residents and one of mass organizations.

When the officer was about to announce the decree from the court, the residents drive away the officers. And the clash could not be avoided. They were threw with rocks and wood. As a result, one of them got injured.

But it did not take long as the police and army had handled the both sides. After mediation, the officers swept the land and found some sharp weapons prepared by the residents to prevent the execution.

Head of Law Division for West Jakarta Administration, Ati Sumiyati stated the 1st warning letter (SP) until Demolishment Warrant (SPB) has been given to Rosidah as the heirs of Nawi Bin Tidi, the owner of Girik C.576 Persil 22a d.1 with 7,930 square-meters land area.

Whereas on the land has been issued SHGB 5585/Joglo on behalf of PT Copylas Indonesia. "The court has decreed that PT Copylas Indonesia is the official owner. Even the company had offered compensation money amounted Rp 500 million for the owner but it got rejected and asked for Rp 5 billion instead," she explained.

But the demolishment was still conducted eventhough it was refused by the residents.
