Besides offering various books, the library also provides story telling every night.
A total of 2,000 books, a plasma TV and audio video equipment were also be equipped in the mobile library which operates since 8 AM until night.
Service Hours of Jakarta Public Library ExtendedHead of East Jakarta Library and Archives Office, Yati Sudiharti said, the mobile library was deployed to entertain and educate children in the flat.
"Story telling will be provided every night when all children gathered. Last night, I've told them a story," she said.
She continued, this mobile library will only open until his side set permanent library in the flat consisting of public library, Early-Childhood (PAUD) library, and Children library.
"Last night, many children asked for textbooks. We will check their required program and book later," she told.
Alfred Zulfikar Ratu Corsina (8), a child in Jatinegara flat, claimed to happy with this library.
"Yes, I am happy because many of story books at there," Ratu uttered.
